CHAPTER 1
Meet Frank. An extraordinary guy from Miami, USA. Frank loves money, women, fast cars, exotic beaches, luxury yachts, sharp clothes, and almost everything else you could possibly think of relating to the life of a millionaire. Frank started from nothing, just a poor kid from the hood, and using his street smarts over the years, managed to create a life for himself that most people only ever dream about. He made his money from solid investments in real estate and from businesses that he built, and he now enjoys the status as one of the wealthiest guys in Miami.
Frank started out his entrepreneurial career as a young boy delivering newspapers, and from there worked various part-time jobs through his teen years, never squandering his money like all the other kids, but saving it for a better future. After leaving school at sixteen, he got a job as a security guard, which later led to work as a bodyguard, paying much better than security. Then with the money he had saved over a few more years, he invested in a handful of real estate deals, which turned out to be sound investments, because he tripled his money with those properties within a seven-year period, and sold right before the property bubble burst. Frank had a kind of sixth sense of how to make money.
As a kid in high school, he had tried every venture that you could possibly imagine to make a few extra dollars. The amazing thing is that unlike all the other kids, Frank did not spend any of his money on the usual things that teenagers did, but rather he saved all the cash he earned. Over the years, he built up a pretty nice stash of cash, sometimes working up to three different jobs every day, while still managing to find time to grudgingly attend school just to keep his parents happy. Frank didn’t care about school, and he saw it as largely a waste of time. When he understood at that early age that time was money, wasting time having learn about subjects he had no interest in was a bitter pill to swallow.
Frank wasn’t dumb, although his school grades would say otherwise, but he just didn’t place his focus and attention on being a goody-two-shoes, and getting good grades like the other kids strived to do. Frank knew that when he would leave school at age sixteen, he would have no use for the so-called education that the teachers were feeding the students. He was a business man at heart, an entrepreneur, and he knew that to get by in business, he just needed basic math, which was to multiply, add, subtract and divide. These four things were the only requirement to begin in business. Of course, you had to learn about cash flow, stock control, and all those other skills, but those things could be learned along the way.
Frank wanted to get his real education from the school of hard knocks. He couldn’t wait to leave school, so that he could learn the ins and outs of business as fast as possible, make all the mistakes he needed to make as quickly as possible, then go on wiser and with greater knowledge to succeed in business and make loads of money, and while his former classmates would still be at university sucking their thumbs, he would be out in the real world, working his way towards becoming a millionaire and building a great future for himself. He wanted to live luxuriously and buy lots of nice things, but he knew that he could not do that yet, even if he did have some cash available, because he knew that to become super-successful, he had to continually reinvest every spare dollar he had back into his business ventures, so that they could grow bigger and become more profitable, until one day his ventures would pay off and put serious money back into his pocket. He just needed to have patience.
Now, Frank had done his time, he had put in the time learning, developing and honing his business skills, until he was a now a veteran of the business world, even though still not yet thirty years old, he could stand tall and proud amongst the other rich businessmen of Miami.
Frank owned a beautiful home overlooking the ocean in Miami and it was worth tens of millions of dollars. This home was his pride and joy, and he loved to show it off at any opportunity, especially to the ladies. He would host a party every month that promised an evening of much enjoyment and debauchery, and B-list celebrities could often be spotted at any one of his infamous parties. Frank had good taste and class, but he also knew how to totally let go, relax and enjoy a good party, as well as enjoy the beautiful women in attendance.
CHAPTER 2
Frank was no saint, and he never pretended that he was one. He did not put on pretenses nor pretend to be someone he wasn’t, just to seek others approval or friendship. Frank was always himself, and he was comfortable in his own skin, which is what made women flock to him, and made guys want to hang out with him, because he was a down-to-earth dude and never put himself above anyone else. Frank had come from the gutter himself, so he knew what it felt like growing up poor without the cash or resources to buy the things that he really wanted. Because of this, he could empathize with others that had yet to make their mark on the world and claim their riches. He always gave his business advice freely to those that asked of it, and when he did give that advice, it was always in plain English, with no fancy words or financial terms.
Business was simple, and it was about selling something for a profit, and that was it. Yes, of course, there were other details, but that is basically how business people and entrepreneurs become rich, they sell something, whatever it is, and they take a profit on that sale. Any profit is good profit, even if it is just ten cents profit on a dollar, ten percent is a good return, and is respectable in the business world.
Frank had his beautiful home overlooking the ocean, and he also had expensive toys that he was equally proud of. The other luxuries that he allowed himself to purchase with his hard-earned money were fast cars, namely a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, and also a couple of superbikes that he used to ride around the city sometimes when he just felt like chilling and enjoying the scenery on two wheels. Frank had discovered that nothing could beat riding around town on a top-of-the-line supersport motorcycle with a loud exhaust that would turn heads, and garner admiring glances from those who also valued these kind of luxury items, but likely could not yet afford them.
Frank just loved to show off. He loved to display his wealth and put it on show for everyone to see. He wanted everyone to know that he, Frank, had transformed himself into a huge success, and was now one of the richest ballers in Miami. Because Frank was such a nice guy to everyone he met, it meant that he had very few enemies that would be tempted to take him down, and attempt to strip him of his wealth.
Frank was living the great American dream, and he loved it. Sure, he had worked hard to get to where he was today, but it had not been terribly hard work, he had just used the basic intelligence that he had been gifted with, and created average businesses that had generated respectable profits year after year. Frank was no genius, and had just used common sense that was available to anyone who had the desire to make money.
Frank also owned a 150-foot luxury yacht moored at the local docks in Miami. The yacht had a private helipad, 2 jet skis at the back, a casino room, 6 bedrooms, and everything else you would expect of a high-end millionaire’s yacht. It was true, he had paid a pretty penny for that piece of floating paradise, and although many rich people warned against buying luxury yachts, Frank felt that he would just go ahead and buy it because he could buy it, and because he really wanted it. He wanted all the trappings of wealth. He wanted to feel like he had reached the very top of the ladder, and these material things, these millionaire toys, were a symbol or a reflection of the level of entrepreneurial intelligence he possessed that had allowed him to be able to acquire as much wealth as he had.
Frank was always pushing himself, pushing his limits and expanding his horizons, which is why he was taking helicopter flight lessons, and also training to get his pilot’s license for fixed wing aircraft. He was learning to fly in a little Cessna. Frank loved the feeling of flying so much, and one day he would purchase his own helicopter and his own plane. He would of course have to rent his own private hangar at Miami airport, but he did not care about the cost of that. If Frank desired to do something, then he would do it, and cost was never an issue, as he always put his happiness, enjoyment, and feeling good, before everything else. Frank knew that life was about having fun, and that was it. If you could make money young in life, say, before the age of forty, fifty, or even sixty, then you could just lay back and enjoy the rest of your years in luxury, without a care in the world, just doing each day the things that you wanted to do, without having to answer to anyone else in the world.
That was the main reason Frank had become an entrepreneur in the first place, because there was no way that he could work in a normal job, with a manager or boss always looking over his shoulder, constantly monitoring his actions. Frank learned early in life that he had to be his own boss. It was the only way that he could function and operate in the world, and he hated having anyone else try to control him and his actions. He did not have to justify himself to anyone in the world. He was no slave to work for anyone else. He was his own man.
CHAPTER 3
Since Frank was a teenager, he had always felt a strong desire for Asian women, and he always imagined himself having Asian girlfriends when he would become an adult. He loved the beautiful almond-shaped eyes, and the lustrous thick black hair of Asian women, which is why, when he did grow older and became an adult, he almost always had an Asian partner or lover. That was not to say that Frank did not appreciate women of other races, because he did, very much, but it was that exotic lure and pure femininity that Asian women possessed, that got him every time.
He could fall in love so easily with Asian women, and quite often he had to really restrain himself from falling in love every time he met an especially cute Asian woman. He knew that if he ever got married, that his wife would most definitely have to be Asian. Of course, he had experienced a wide variety of women in and out of bed, but he only felt truly and deeply satisfied in the company of an Asian woman.
Since he had been a young adult, Frank had been in many relationships, most short term, lasting only a few months, but some had been a couple of years in length. Usually, when Frank would split up with a girlfriend in the past, it would be a case of them just not being compatible with each other, and they would usually remain good friends even after breaking up with each other.
At the moment, Frank was single, and it had been that way for the last three months. Right now, he was enjoying some time to just play around, having simple no-strings intimacy with any beautiful woman that showed interest in him. Frank knew that perhaps one day he may settle down and get married, and may have kids, but for now, and for the next few years, he really just wanted to continue searching for the most perfect woman he could find, one that would love and respect him as much as he loved and respected her, and not just love him because he was rich.
CHAPTER 4
Frank had had experiences with many different types of businesses over the years. Some had been spectacular failures, but some had been modest winners. Fortunately for Frank, the successful businesses had covered the losses from the unsuccessful businesses, but this was more by design than by luck. Frank knew that it was not a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket when you are still trying to make it in life and building up a good financial portfolio. He also knew that sometimes in life, if you wanted to become hugely successful, you did have to put all your eggs in one basket, and you had to take the risk that went along with doing that. It was a contradiction, but there were many contradictions in life, and Frank knew that you just had to make the best decision that you could possibly make when it came to decision-making time. Some people followed their hearts more than their heads, and they often paid the price for it, but Frank was very aware that following the heart could make a person vastly wealthier, following their true passion, because they would happily devote every second of the day to a business they were passionate about, and so their chances of success would be that much higher.
In the last few years, Frank had grown very cautious about investing his money where there was a high risk of not having his money returned. He preferred safer investments that yielded lower returns, because at least he had the comfort and security of knowing that he was not going to wake up the next day down a couple of million dollars because something had happened that was out of his control. Frank liked to be in the driving seat of his finances at all times, and when it came to other people managing his money, he just did not trust them.
Frank had been burned a few times in the past by putting his money, as an angel investor, into what seemed like ‘cool’ investments, but he had quickly come to realize that ‘cool start-up business’ and ‘good financial returns’ were not often found in the same sentence, and that he was much better off putting his money into investments that sounded boring, but did actually return his money back to him with interest or profit.
CHAPTER 5
Frank did not really have any mysterious secrets to share with anyone on how he became a huge success in the world of business and finance, but he did have some basic solid advice to give, and usually Frank had discovered that it was the simple strategies that were the most effective in life and in business. Frank believed in hard work, which was the number one principle that he always stuck by. These days, there is this idea that if you work smart, not hard, for a few hours a week, you are going to magically become a millionaire within just a few short years. Whoever was spouting that nonsense was definitely selling something. Sometimes these get rich quick schemes sound good in theory, but when it comes time to put them into practice in the real world, they often fall flat on their face.
The real world sorts out the winners from the losers. The truth can be a bitter pill to swallow, and reality was indeed that bitter pill for most people who wanted to be rich, but did not or would not do, through lack of knowledge, the necessary things in order to make it happen.
Frank had found that there were some really simple things that could make the path to wealth that little bit smoother, and they were simple things like learning the power of a nice genuine smile at the right time, or giving someone a nice compliment about something or other, and generally just being a good person to the people that you meet along the way during your journey towards accumulating massive wealth. Frank could be very old-fashioned at times, and he believed that above all else, hard work and persistence were the two key components that would determine whether or not a person would become rich and successful.
In his early twenties, Frank had learned to overcome his two biggest enemies, which were laziness and procrastination. By setting daily goals and tasks for himself, and doing his best to achieve them each day, he had formed success habits that had been powerful enough to override the negative behavior patterns that had been trying to bring him down before. Frank had also read about, and had integrated into his own life, the power of the subconscious mind to help you achieve the goal that you have set for yourself, and in Frank’s case, it had been to become a multi-millionaire before the age of thirty. Now of course he had already achieved this goal, and Frank attributed much of his success to the power of his subconscious thought patterns, as well as the power of simply developing better habits in life.
CHAPTER 6
Frank had found out the hard way that having a business partner was usually a bad idea. This was because the two partners are inherently different in the way they think and act, and they do not always do what is in the best interests of the business or their business partner. Usually, in any business partnership, there is one person who always works harder than the other, and that is not to say that the other person is lazy, but it just means that both business partners have different work ethics. Well, Frank had discovered that a simple difference in work ethic could put a lot of stress and strain on the relationship between business partners, and that is without taking into consideration all the other things that can potentially go wrong in a business partnership.
In any business you create, Frank knew that it was paramount, wherever possible, to have as much control over the business as possible, but when entering into a partnership, even if it is with someone you know and trust, like an old friend, you are giving up a large amount of control, which means that the business will not always proceed in the way that you have visualized, and that your partner may have a totally different vision for the business and the direction in which it is headed.
Frank was aware of the fact that usually, when a business partnership was dissolved, any friendship that had been there previously was also dissolved, but that was usually the case when you mixed money with friendship, where you will either lose your money, or lose your friend, or sometimes even lose both. This explains why very rich people usually leave their old unsuccessful friends behind, and find new friends who are already wealthy and successful, that way they do not have the jealousy problems that poor friends can bring to what was once a good solid friendship before one of them became successful.
Because of Frank’s wise decisions and investments with the money that he had earned over the years, he was now able to retire from work even before reaching the age of thirty. If he chose, he could live out his life very easily, comfortably, even luxuriously, on the money that now poured into his bank account every month from the various investments and businesses that he had carefully built up from scratch. His financial portfolio was quite broad, and contained rental offices, apartments and residential homes, as well as stocks and bonds, physical businesses that he had a controlling share in, and virtual online businesses that made much of their income from selling advertising space.
Due to his wise investments and skills at creating and operating businesses, he could now wake up in the morning, every morning for the rest of his life, and just do whatever he damned well pleased for the whole day, every day. Money was no object, and he could fulfil almost every desire possible if he chose to.
Frank was a simple man at heart, and he enjoyed pursuing interests and hobbies similar to most other men of his age, apart from a few interests that required rather large sums of money, such as airplane and helicopter flight lessons and training. However, he was just as at home engrossed in a game of chess with a friend, or relaxing on his sofa playing video games, and he did not require an overly luxurious and decadent lifestyle, but because of the fact that he could afford the highest luxuries that life had to offer, he saw no reason why he should refuse them, which was why he allowed himself to enjoy a wide variety of interests including the most expensive ones that money could buy, and because he had come from a life of poverty, he could appreciate the most simple and basic things in life, as well as the most ostentatious and luxurious of things.
What Frank enjoyed most of all was waking up each day knowing that the whole world was his playground and he could do whatever his heart desired, and for Frank, that level of freedom was truly the most valuable thing he had gained from all his wealth and success.
CHAPTER 7
Frank had grown up poor. He was an only child, and his father had left him and his mother when Frank was just two years old. Frank had no recollection of his father, as he had been too young to retain any memories. It was clear that Frank’s mother felt animosity towards his father, but she did not poison Frank’s mind with bad stories of his father, like many mothers may have done.
Frank’s mother had done an amazing job raising him on her own, and even though it had been difficult, she had done her best to instill positivity and creativity in her son’s mind, always being careful to avoid any negative talk, because she wanted her son to be the best that he could be in life, and for that, she knew, he would have to be raised in optimum conditions of happiness and positivity at all times.
Growing up as a young child, there were many things that Frank had wanted, the usual boy’s toys, but he had grown aware of the fact that his mother just could not afford to buy most of the things that Frank desired. So, Frank would just browse the toys, window shopping, and dream about what it would be like to own them. The toys were not particularly expensive, but his mother just did not have the spare cash to afford things like that, although she did her best, and Frank did have a small collection of toys that he loved and cherished, and would play with almost every day.
Frank had been a good kid, and never complained about his mother’s lack of money. She was holding down two separate jobs just to pay the rent and put food on the table. Growing up like this, in poverty, had planted seeds in Frank’s mind, seeds for the desire of great wealth, and over the years, growing up, he would water and nourish these seeds of desired wealth, until they grew big, flourished, and actually took root in Frank’s physical reality, and he gradually found himself walking the path to wealth, riches and success. Growing up poor had been a gift that had pushed Frank to go on to be hugely successful in life, so given a choice, he would not have changed a thing in his early years growing up poor.
CHAPTER 8
When Frank had been a young boy, he would walk around his poor neighborhood and notice the cheaply-constructed houses, and the beat-up cars parked outside these rundown houses, but one sunny day, while walking down the street, out of nowhere came a beautiful and luxurious orange Lamborghini, looking sleek and powerful as it rolled slowly along the road. This had been the first time Frank had ever seen a luxury sports car up-close in real life. Sure, he had seen them on TV, but to see this magnificent beast of a car up-close and personal was so unreal for him. The Lambo looked like a slice of heaven as it cruised down the street, roaring like a lion. Frank quickly decided he would follow it to see where it was going, for he was sure that nobody in this neighborhood could ever afford an exotic supercar. He followed it to the end of the street, where it came to a stop and parked by the side of the road. When Frank finally caught up with the orange monster, there were already a few other people standing around admiring the beauty of this hugely expensive machine.
It was well-known by everyone that owning and driving a Lamborghini was a sign that the owner was seriously wealthy, with the kind of wealth that was way out of reach of normal everyday folk. Suddenly, the door of the Lambo clicked open, and out climbed a young man, not over thirty years old, dressed very sharp in crisp expensive jeans, clean white sneakers, and sporting a black polo-neck shirt, with a pair of high-end sunglasses to complete the outfit. This man was dressed casual but smart, and certainly sharp enough to be driving a Lamborghini.
Unexpectedly, the other door on the passenger side swung open and out stepped a petite young Asian woman, with silky long black hair down to her waist. This Asian chick was absolutely stunning, even hotter than the car that she had just stepped out of. Upon laying eyes on this beautiful Asian woman, Frank fell instantly in love, and felt a deep burning jealousy in his heart at what he was seeing. Frank wanted to be dressed like that man. Frank wanted to own that orange Lamborghini. Frank wanted to possess that amazingly exotic and beautiful Asian lady that was now standing just a few meters away from him. But the jealousy that Frank was feeling was not of a dark or evil type of jealousy, but it was more a deep wanting or desire, a feeling of great envy at the type of life that this rich man standing before him had acquired.
Frank’s mind suddenly began working overtime, and even though he was just a teenager at that time, he was able to recognize that this was a very rare opportunity, especially in a poor neighborhood like this, to have the chance to meet an extremely wealthy person, and so he took it upon himself to take advantage of the situation. He walked straight up to the owner of the Lamborghini, introducing himself as Frank, and offering a nice compliment to the man about his incredible sports car, he then proceeded to ask the wealthy man who he was and what he was doing here, and what it was that he was doing for a living, what was his job or profession that had allowed him to afford such a high-end luxury car as this.
The rich man looked at him curiously, then decided that he would tell the boy what it was that he so desperately wanted to know. Leaning back against his sleek Lamborghini, the wealthy man had told Frank that he had made his money from real estate, and that he had worked hard labor for a few years, lived frugally, and managed to save up enough money for a down-payment on a small condo in the city. With this new condo, which he rented out, he was able to collect the monthly payments of rent, which were enough to cover the monthly payments on the mortgage for that condo, with a little left over. After another two years of working hard in low-class jobs, and saving his money fiercely, living on noodles and other cheap food, with no social life, he had again managed to save up enough to put another down-payment on another fairly cheap condo, which he rented out just like the first one, and collected monthly rental on it.
After many years of using this simple but powerful technique, and reinvesting all his money into real estate, he had amassed a portfolio of 25 rental properties, and now his combined monthly earnings from those properties was very large, and easily enough to be able to afford the orange Lamborghini parked next to Frank. As it turned out, the rich guy with the Lamborghini was the cousin of one of the other guys living on the same street as Frank, and he had come by to show off his newly acquired supercar, along with his beautiful Asian girlfriend. Frank had been greatly inspired by this chance meeting with the rich guy and his luxury sports car, and from that day onward he had been absolutely determined to become very rich and successful.
